Best spanakopita I have ever had! Great service, great atmosphere, busy for a Monday night. I would recommend reservations. I wanted to try a few cocktails on their menu but the first was so good I stuck with it (bright white). I will definitely be going back to try more cocktails and food items!

What an incredible experience!!! I can't say enough about Stella's delectable menu!!! So many fantastic dishes!! The creative brilliance of each dish is fully on display- and their marinara sauce is absolute perfection. I can't wait to return to Richmond to enjoy this gem again.

Stella’s is incredible! Of all the really good restaurants in Richmond this is a solid lock in my top 3 favorites across the city. The staff is friendly, they pay attention to you, and they really focus on helping you have a great experience. The food always has great flavor and really elevates Greek comfort dishes. There’s multiple ways to dine here, whether that be with a traditional starter and main course or a collection of small plates to really explore what the menu offers. You HAVE to get a reservation here because the restaurant is cozy and is so popular that it’s virtually always booked. You can try for the community table in the middle, and if it doesn’t work out you can pick up their most popular dishes across the street in their market.

If you are looking for a Greek cuisine in the RVA area then this is your spot! Amazing atmosphere, very professional staff, phenomenal food.. I have a Greek background and trust me when I say they serve real Greek food... this is the place I go when I feel home sick !

Stella's is some of the best greek food in Virginia. We were from out of town and so many people told us to come here. The small feeling and coziness is a plus and all of our dishes were absolutely delicious. The staff here do such a nice job at making sure everything is comes out on time and are very attentive. Cant wait to come back!!

I'm not a lover of meatballs but I ordered them because I love lamb and I was so glad that I did! They were almost fluffy and perfectly cooked. I woke up thinking about them and haven't stopped. The octopus was perfectly cooked as well, which anyone who's eaten octopus knows, octopus has to be perfect to be edible. The salad special was pretty good but honestly wasn't that special. Seated late for our 9:30 reservation, but the wait was worth it. Roasted oysters, octopus, shrimp and cheese appetizers didn't disappoint. Crab topped filet was excellent. Desserts were great too. Service was professional and efficient. No wonder it's so hard to get a table!

This place never disappoints. From the menu to the atmosphere, everything is awesome! I haven't tried anything here that I haven't liked. One tip, order everything, or as much as you can. So many delicious foods to enjoy!

I honestly can't give a good/bad review....the food tasted good. But my husband should've checked the restaurant out better. Unfortunately I'm allergic to seafood & this isn't a restaurant I'd eat at. I don't drink alcohol & sitting at a community table with others really close, the smell was over powering added with seafood. The chairs I sat in were hurting my backFor me to enjoy a meal I'd have to come on a light dinner night & try again.

Thoroughly enjoyed Stella's on my trip to Richmond. Enjoyed it so much I went again for lunch at the grocery the next day! Such a treat.

The food was amazing! The cheese dish was fancy as it gets lit on fire. We were there for a work outing and the ambiance is great for it!

Old Town Alexandria does not lack in good or expensive restaurants but this Belgian/French style restaurant hidden away is worth a pilgrimage from the city. It has an elegant top notch bar with knowledgeable and creative bartenders. There is also a pseudo open floor space behind the bar that facilitates some mingling while the dining area is just past the bar in the back.

My server was great, he knew the menu and the special of the day both food and drinks. I for something for the table and he did not disappoint. From cheese, to beef, and chicken.i got it all on my plate and I was a happy man.

It was our first time at Stella's, and we loved it. The food is DELICIOUS! We ordered some meze (tapas) to share: Lamb meatballs, grilled calamari, grilled octopus and humus, everything was awesome, well presented and tasty. The services was fabulous, our waitress was friendly and cordial. Great environment. Clean bathrooms.

We LOVE the vibe and location and fabulously prepared food at Stella’s. And, our youngest son and his adorable wife adore it!! And now.... our new grandson will begin the 3rd generation of Stella’s Fan Club.

Cozy, loud, and delicious. The flavors of their dishes were plentiful and complex, but not overwhelming or conflicting - all of this to say that everything we ordered was excellent. Food was delivered in a timely manner by staff who were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you come aware that you'll need to street park and that you are not in for a quiet evening, you'll enjoy every minute. Highly recommended.

I think I have a new favorite restaurant in Richmond.Our server was excellent. Given how crowded the place was, our wait times for drinks, appetizers, and entrees were very reasonable. My lamb was cooked exactly the way I like it. We are looking forward to going back again and again.

Incredible food and really nice staff and bartenders. Feels tucked away location wise, has great lighting/ambiance inside, plus they found a way to make tight dining area seem open and comfortable. Take me on a date here please.

I ordered take-out tonight and was very excited to take advantage of their champagne delivery. I got home and realized my bubbles weren’t in the bag. I called and, even though my house is outside of the delivery area, someone came within 25 minutes (wearing gloves!) with the bottle. The food is obviously amazing, but the service is also incredible. I don’t know how much longer they’ll be doing takeout, but please take advantage of it while it lasts. And definitely pack the place once things go back to normal. Thank you guys!

Great service and a fantastic meal! Make sure you make a reservation if you don't want to wait. They had a fantastic, varied selection of Greek dishes - I wish I got to try more! It's super cute and trendy inside with limited tables, a bar, and a large community table.

I've been searching Richmond for a great Greek place for a little while and I'm happy to day that I've finally found it. I walked in to a modern restaurant and was immediately impressed with both the decor, and that they have olive oil on the tables. It was a good sign of things to come. I ordered the hummus/tabbouleh and was impressed by both the spreads and the pita. Fresh bread was also brought out and it was some of the best house bread I've had in awhile. I then had the lamb gyro and can honestly say that I was blown away. The lamb was very flavorful, just like how grandma (who was also named Stella) used to make it at Christmas/Greek Easter. The potato wedges were crispy but with a soft interior. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. This was easily the best gyro I've had in Richmond and by a very wide margin. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu, check it out if you're in Richmond. If I could give Stella's more stars, I would.

Great place to dine! First is the fresh sliced bread and olive oil. For appetizer I had beets with creme fraiche.....yummy...and braised lamb shank for entree; awesome dinner! Very well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. And baklava for desert. We'll go back there the next time we get a chance. Stella needs to open a place in Virginia Beach !!

The go-to place in town for greek cuisine. Tight quarters inside but always friendly folks around you. Staff is friendly, patient, and so helpful with menu explanations and selection. They also have a really decent cocktail selection. Their grocery store is directly across the street for big variety of take-home items from the menu.

Love to try new places when traveling about. I always check the google reviews, lol, especially with restaurants. This place has good reviews for a good reason. Authentic and yummy greek food, nothing bad to say at all. Hopefully I will eat here again before my trip is over. 5*
